Peter McConnell Grim Fandango Remastered Interview

Alternative Magazine Online recently reviewed Grim Fandango Remastered, describing it as “a 17-year-old classic LucasArts game remastered in HD, looking and sounding better than it has ever done.” This was in large part due to the remastered score, with many of the songs now fully orchestrated by the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra. GAME REVIEW – The Cave (PC)

The Cave

The Cave is a downloadable 2.5D platform-adventure video game developed by Double Fine Productions and distributed by Sega, released in January 2013 for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Wii U and PC (Steam). The game’s producer is none other than Ron Gilbert, the legendary game designer behind such classic adventures as Maniac Mansion and Monkey Island. Based on an idea Gilbert had over 20 years ago, players must select three unique characters before descending into a cave that eerily reflects their darkest personality traits.

His credits include numerous titles from LucasArts, where he spent much of his early career composing in-house for games such as Monkey Island II, Full Throttle and Grim Fandango.
