Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End is an action-adventure game developed by Naughty Dog and published by Sony Interactive Entertainment. A sequel to the critically acclaimed original PlayStation 3 trilogy that ended in 2011 with Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception, Uncharted 4 has been confirmed by Naughty Dog as the final game in the Uncharted series. Picking up several years after the events of the previous game, A Thief’s End sees Nathan Drake drawn back towards a life of adventure when his long lost brother Sam turns up asking for help.

INTERVIEW – In Conversation With Merle Dandridge (Marlene, The Last of Us)

In June 2013, Alternative Magazine Online reviewed The Last of Us (PlayStation 3), describing it as “one of the most emotionally engaging and harrowing experiences ever committed to the video game medium.” A huge part of the game’s success can be directly attributed to the performances of the talented actors involved, who provided motion capture as well as voice acting. Merle Dandridge kindly joined us in 2011 for an interview about her role as Alyx Vance in the Half Life video games. The Last Of Us

The Last of Us is a survival horror action-adventure video game developed by Naughty Dog, creators of the critically acclaimed Uncharted series. Published by Sony Computer Entertainment exclusively for the PlayStation 3, the game puts players in control of Joel, a hardened survivor who is travelling across a post-apocalyptic, monster-infested United States in the year 2033 to deliver a 14-year-old girl to a mysterious resistance group known as the ‘Fireflies’. The Last of Us was released worldwide on the 14th June 2013.

Uncharted 3 Drake's Deception

Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception is the latest instalment in the Uncharted series of video games created by Naughty Dog for PlayStation 3. The plot revolves around the ‘Iram of the Pillars’, an ancient city lost in the Rub’ al Khali desert. The complex relationship between Nathan Drake and his mentor Victor Sullivan is further explored as they battle the mysterious Katherine Marlowe and her right-hand man, Talbot. *Warning: due to the story-heavy nature of Uncharted 3, there are minor spoilers present throughout this review.*
