Fictional Alignment is a science fiction satire written and illustrated by British author and illustrator Mike French. Serving as a sequel to An Android Awakes – which AMO’s 2016 review described as “filled to the brim with humour, violence, thought-provoking content and great imagination” – Fictional Alignment follows Sapphira, a prostitute who has written the first work of fiction by a human in over 100 years. Finding Paradise arrives with the weight of expectation upon its shoulders then; but can it step out of the shadow of its beloved predecessor?

Unhinged A Danny Cleary Novel by Barbra Leslie

Unhinged: A Danny Cleary Novel is the final instalment of a thriller trilogy that began with Cracked in 2015 – “a cracking good read, mixing the violence and dark laughs of a Tarantino film with the conspiracy-fuelled page turning of a Michael Marshall mystery thriller and the neo-noir of James Sallis” – and continued with Rehab Run – “an often shocking, hilarious and scary novel” – in 2016. Unhinged is Danny Cleary’s grand finale; but will she make it to the very end?
