The Walking Dead: Michonne – A Telltale Miniseries is a new three-part adventure game from Telltale Games, based on Robert Kirkman’s best-selling comic books. Set within the comic book universe, kept separate from the popular television series of the same name, it follows on from the huge success of The Walking Dead: Season One, The Walking Dead: 400 Days and The Walking Dead: Season Two. In The Walking Dead: Michonne – Episode 1: In Too Deep, players take control of fan-favourite blade-wielding badass Michonne as she fights for her life, and her sanity, in an adventure where every split-second decision counts.

The Adventures of Bertram Fiddle: Episode 1 – A Dreadly Business is a comedy 2D point-and-click murder mystery adventure game set in Victorian London, created by Seb Burnett and Rumpus Animation. The first instalment of a planned series, Episode 1 sees self-proclaimed leading explorator Bertram Fiddle and his trusty manservant Gavin hunting down a serial killer called Geoff the Murderer. Originally released for iOS in 2014, the game has since been released on PC and Mac in 2015.

The Minims - A New Beginning

The Minims – A New Beginning for iPhone, iPad and iPod touch is a point-and-click (point-and-touch?) adventure game created by beyondthosehills studio, a self-described ‘tiny indie development team based in Greece’. The work of a single developer, Andreas Diktyopoulos, an early version of the game appeared in 2013 as a benchmark test. The Minims – A New Beginning is an almost complete reboot with improved story, length, puzzles, graphics and sound. Players take control of Mii, a Minim who must embark on a journey of self-discovery to find his missing life partner, Mo.

GAME REVIEW – The Last Express (iPhone)

icon_TLE The Last Express in an award-winning adventure game designed by Jordan Mechner, who is best known as the creator of the Prince of Persia franchise. Originally released on PC in 1997, the game is now being made available on iOS devices for the very first time thanks to DotEmu, a Paris-based developer and publisher that specialises in modern releases of retro titles. In The Last Express, the player takes control of American doctor and fugitive from the law Robert Cath, who boards the Orient Express after receiving an urgent telegram from his best friend Tyler Whitney. When he finds Tyler dead in his compartment, Cath finds himself embroiled in a plot equal parts conspiracy, politics, romance and murder.
