An Android Awakes

An Android Awakes is touted by publisher Elsewhen Press as a cross between a graphic novel and a novel. Written by Mike French and illustrated by Karl Brown, it tells the story of Android Writer PD121928 who is part of the Android Publishing Program. His wife has been forcibly removed so he can concentrate and there are plenty of replacement cats stored in the freezer. When his latest novel The Eating of Citizen Cane is rejected, he finds himself with only 14 attempts left to get a story accepted for the program before he will be deactivated.

Cracked: A Danny Cleary Novel is the first instalment of a brand new thriller trilogy written by author Barbra Leslie. Published in November 2015 by Titan Books, Cracked tells the story of crack cocaine addict Danny Cleary as she desperately tries to hunt down the murderer of her fraternal twin sister, Ginger. Battling addiction, the cops and an unknown enemy, Danny must try to keep a (relatively) clear head as the plot thickens and the danger becomes more and more real for her… and her family.

INTERVIEW – In Conversation With Rolf Saxon (George Stobbart, Broken Sword 5: The Serpent’s Curse)

Broken Sword 5: The Serpent’s Curse is a point-and-click adventure game created by British game developer Revolution Software. In 2013, the studio raised $771,560 (over $823,000 including PayPal donations) via Kickstarter to create the latest instalment in the classic Broken Sword series, which was eventually released as two episodes. Alternative Magazine Online’s review of the first episode described The Serpent’s Curse as “not only an excellent new instalment in the series, but an excellent adventure game full stop.” Broken Sword 5 was released on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in September 2015, making the game available to a whole new audience. It seemed like the perfect time to catch up with the charming man behind the voice of the series’ much-loved protagonist George Stobbart. AMO is therefore delighted to present an exclusive online interview with American actor Rolf Saxon.
