Devil’s Cove is a classic point-and-click adventure game being developed by indie game developer Anarchy Enterprises for PC, Mac, iOS and Android devices. Taking place in the cursed harbour town of Devil’s Cove, Anarchy Enterprises hopes to raise $185,000 via Kickstarter to fund the project. GAME REVIEW – Machinarium (PSN)

Machinarium is an award-winning indie point-and-click adventure game created by Amanita Design, a small independent game developing studio based in the Czech Republic. Originally released in 2009 on PC (AMO’s original review described it as “a unique, original adventure”), the game has since been released for iPad 2, BlackBerry PlayBook and Android devices. On the 6th September 2012, Machinarium was finally released on the PlayStation Network in Europe.

GAME REVIEW – Botanicula (PC)

Botanicula is an indie point-and-click adventure game created by Amanita Design of Machinarium fame. The player takes control of five little creatures (Mr. Lantern, Mr. Twig, Mr. Poppy Head, Mr. Feather and Mrs. Mushroom) who must save the last seed of life from their home tree as they are pursued by evil spider-like parasites. Featuring no spoken or written dialogue, Botanicula is an adventure game that focuses on exploration and discovery.

GAME PREVIEW – Resonance (XII Games / Wadjet Eye Games)

Resonance is an upcoming indie point-and-click PC adventure game from XII Games in collaboration with Wadjet Eye Games. Featuring four playable characters, the game is based around the mysterious death of a particle physicist and his hidden vault. Each character becomes involved for their own different reasons and all must be controlled, both separately and working together as a team, to uncover a potentially deadly new technology.
