The Adventures of Tintin: The Secret of the Unicorn is a video game based on the film of the same name (reviewed here), developed by Ubisoft Montpellier and published by Ubisoft. Tintin and Snowy must team up with Captain Haddock as they travel the world in search of the secret of the Unicorn, in a loose retelling of the film.

GAME REVIEW – Sanitarium (1998, PC)

Originally released in 1998, Sanitarium is a PC adventure game created by Dreamforge and more recently re-released and made playable on modern machines by GOG.com. Despite receiving a mixed reaction from adventure outlets back in the day, it is still often cited by fans of the genre as a classic for its twisted and unsettling atmosphere. As a fan of psychological horror and thrillers across all forms of media, I was understandably excited when given the chance to belatedly discover what all the fuss was about. With the credits now behind me, I’m unfortunately no nearer to finding out.

GAME REVIEW – The Book of Unwritten Tales (PC)

The Book of Unwritten Tales is an acclaimed point-and-click adventure game created by German developer KING Art Games. Set in a humorous fantasy land, the game features four playable characters: the little gnome Wilbur, the elf princess Ivo, a human adventurer named Nate and his furry friend Critter. Together, these unlikely heroes must defeat the Army of the Shadows and protect a powerful artefact that could determine the fate of the entire world. Alongside the brand new English language translation, publisher Lace Mamba Global has released the UK retail edition with some additional extras inside the box, including a 36 page art book, a soundtrack CD and a double-sided A2 artwork poster.
