The Art of The Jungle Book by appropriately named writer Ellen Wolff is the official companion to the recently released live-action Disney adaptation of Rudyard Kipling’s collection of stories of the same name. Published by Titan Books, with a foreword by the film’s director Jon Favreau (Swingers, Iron Man 3), the book offers an inside look at the technological magic behind the art of the film, along with interviews with all of the key cast members.

Orient City: Ronin & The Princess is an upcoming animated film described by its creators as a “samurai spaghetti western.” Featuring gorgeous hand-drawn animation, the film was recently announced via Kickstarter, with the project’s two filmmakers and graphic novel creators hoping to raise $30,000. The Hateful Eight is a Western mystery film directed by Quentin Tarantino (Pulp Fiction, Django Unchained). His eighth feature film, the titular ‘Hateful 8’ are played by Samuel L. Some time after the American Civil War, eight strangers seek shelter from a blizzard at a stagecoach stopover know as Minnie’s Haberdashery. Bounty hunter John ‘The Hangman’ Ruth (Russell) is transporting fugitive Daisy Domergue (Leigh) to Red Rock, where she will be hanged and he can collect his $10,000 reward. But not everyone seeking shelter from the blizzard is who they say they are…
