Blade Runner 2049 is a neo-noir science fiction film directed by Denis Villeneuve (Sicario, Arrival). The sequel to the classic film Blade Runner (with director Ridley Scott serving as Executive Producer here), this new story – set 30 years after the 1982 original – stars Ryan Gosling (Drive, La La Land) as Officer K, a Blade Runner hunting down replicants – artificial humans – for the LAPD in the year 2049.

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 – once again written and directed by James Gunn, produced by Marvel Studios and distributed by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures –  is the sequel to the critically and commercially successful comedy/science fiction/superhero film Guardians of the Galaxy (2014).  In this much-anticipated follow-up, the Guardians must stand beside Peter Quill as he finally discovers who his father is. FILM REVIEW – Spectre (IMAX)

Spectre

Spectre is the twenty-fourth James Bond film and Daniel Craig’s fourth (and quite possibly, final) outing as Ian Fleming’s 007. Once again directed by Sam Mendes (returning after the huge success of Skyfall), the plot features the global criminal organisation Spectre – their first appearance in an Eon Productions film, due to years of legal wrangling, since Diamonds Are Forever in 1971. When a cryptic message from beyond the grave sets Bond into unsanctioned action, a chain reaction is triggered that will propel him around the world and eventually bring him face to face with the author of all his pain…
