INTERVIEW – In Conversation With Jean-Baptiste de Clerfayt (Lancelot’s Hangover: The Quest for the Holy Booze Kickstarter)

By Marty Mulrooney

Jean-Baptiste de Clerfayt Interview

Lancelot’s Hangover: The Quest for the Holy Booze is a point-and-click adventure game for Windows PC, described by its creator as Monkey Island meets Monty Python and the Holy Grail. The game (where you play as Lancelot, the sexiest Knight of the Round Table) was recently announced via Kickstarter, with a funding goal of €10,000. It all looks like hilarious medieval fun and apparently backers will increase their sexiness and charisma too – it’s been scientifically proven! AMO is therefore delighted to present an exclusive online interview with Lancelot’s creator, Jean-Baptiste de Clerfayt!

INTERVIEW – In Conversation With Remigiusz Michalski (Downfall: Redux, Harvester Games)

By Marty Mulrooney

Downfall Redux Rem Michalski Interview

Alternative Magazine Online recently reviewed Downfall: Redux, a horror adventure game from the creator of The Cat Lady, describing it as “brilliantly written and beautifully put together.” A remake of the 2009 point-and-click adventure game Downfall, it tells the story of troubled husband Joe Davis as he tries to save his wife from their ill-fated getaway to the Quiet Haven Hotel. The story is as gripping today – with updated graphics, overhauled puzzles and controls, brand new music and the addition of voice acting – as it was in 2009. AMO is therefore delighted to welcome back auteur game designer Remigiusz Michalski for another exclusive online interview!

By Marty Mulrooney

Superhot

Superhot is a first-person shooter where time moves only when you move. Starting out as a 7 Day First Person Shooter (7DFPS) game jam project in 2013, a Kickstarter campaign launched the following year was successfully funded within 23 hours and went on to raise over $250,000. Superhot is the end result – a game where you can dodge bullets and take out your enemies in glorious slow motion, one step at a time.

INTERVIEW – In Conversation With Donna Burke (Singer / Voice Actor, Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain)

By Marty Mulrooney

DonnaBurkeInterview

Donna Burke is an Australian voice actor, singer and entrepreneur who recently appeared as the voice of the iDroid in Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain, as well as singing the game’s highly memorable and emotional theme song Sins of the Father. It’s not the first time she’s been involved with the Metal Gear Solid franchise (or Konami for that matter) either – she sang Heavens Divide for Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker and played the role of Angela in Silent Hill 2 and Claudia in Silent Hill 3. Did we also mention she’s the Founder and CEO of Dagmusic, a sound production company and booking agency based in Tokyo? In short, she’s pretty awesome. It’s therefore with great pleasure that Alternative Magazine Online presents an exclusive online interview with the hugely talented Donna Burke!
