Alternative Magazine Online reviewed Burnhouse Lane earlier this year, describing it as ‘a wonderful horror adventure that is quite frankly unmissable for those who loved the Devil Came Through Here trilogy.’ As a longtime fan of Harvester Games and The Cat Lady, Downfall: Redux and Lorelai, I have followed Remigiusz Michalski’s career for well over a decade now and he is yet to disappoint. I am therefore delighted to present an exclusive online interview with Rem – aka the Stephen King of video games – where we discuss the creation of Burnhouse Lane, working collaboratively with his brother and what the future holds.

GAME REVIEW – Burnhouse Lane (PC)

Burnhouse Lane is the latest horror adventure game from Rem Michalski, aka Harvester Games. It tells the compelling story of Angie Weather, an agency nurse with a terminal illness who must complete five impossible (and gruesome) tasks to win her life back. Following on from the success of the critically acclaimed Devil Came Through Here trilogy – The Cat Lady, Downfall: Redux and Lorelai – was always going to be a fairly tall order, but Burnhouse Lane builds on the strengths of its predecessors to offer something undoubtedly familiar yet ultimately different.

GAME REVIEW – Lorelai (PC)

Lorelai is the third and final chapter in the Devil Came Through Here trilogy, created by auteur horror adventure game designer Remigiusz Michalski. Following on from The Cat Lady (“a life-affirming experience thickly coated in death that deserves to be received by as wide an audience as possible”) and Downfall Redux (“brilliantly written and beautifully put together”), Lorelai tells the story of a young girl trying to escape her toxic family home while protecting the ones she loves most.
