The Wolf Among Us: Episode One – Faith (PC) is the opening instalment of a brand new episodic adventure game series from Telltale Games, the creators of AMO’s pick for Game of the Year 2012 The Walking Dead: The Game. Based on the long-established, award-winning comic book series Fables by Bill Willingham and licensed by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment, the game puts players in control of Bigby Wolf, a man once upon a time more infamously known as The Big Bad Wolf. As Bigby, who is now the sheriff of a hidden community of mythical creatures and characters in New York City, a murder mystery must be solved and a killer brought to justice before heads start to roll – literally. This ain’t no fairy tale…

GAME REVIEW – The Walking Dead: 400 Days (PC)

The Walking Dead: 400 Days is a DLC episode for Season One of Telltale Games’ award-winning video game series, The Walking Dead. In 2012 Alternative Magazine Online described The Walking Dead: Episode 5 – No Time Left as “a tear-jerking masterclass in interactive storytelling. It is undoubtedly Telltale Games’ magnum opus, a bona fide masterpiece that will be talked about for years to come.” 400 Days bridges the gap between Season One and the yet to be released Season Two by putting players in the shoes of five brand new characters as they make split-second decisions that will change their lives – and the lives of those around them – forever.

INTERVIEW – In Conversation With Claire Hummel (Concept Artist, BioShock Infinite)

Claire Hummel is an incredibly talented artist currently working for Microsoft Game Studios Publishing. Claire recently collaborated with Irrational Games on their hit video game BioShock Infinite, helping to design Elizabeth and the Letuce ‘twins’. In Alternative Magazine Online’s recent review of BioShock Infinite, Elizabeth was described as the “game’s secret weapon” – she truly is one of the most well-designed and memorable female video game characters of all time.
