Way back when in 2010, I was lucky enough to have Mark Benninghofen – the voice actor of Ray McCoy in the groundbreaking point-and-click adventure game Blade Runner – write a guest post for Alternative Magazine Online about his experience working on the project. FILM REVIEW – Blade Runner 2049

Blade Runner 2049

Blade Runner 2049 is a neo-noir science fiction film directed by Denis Villeneuve (Sicario, Arrival). The sequel to the classic film Blade Runner (with director Ridley Scott serving as Executive Producer here), this new story – set 30 years after the 1982 original – stars Ryan Gosling (Drive, La La Land) as Officer K, a Blade Runner hunting down replicants – artificial humans – for the LAPD in the year 2049.

FILM REVIEW – Prometheus

Prometheus is a science fiction film directed by iconic English film director and producer Ridley Scott (Blade Runner, Gladiator). The film serves as a loose prequel to his 1979 sci-fi horror classic Alien, taking place in the same universe whilst exploring new themes and grander ideas. At the end of the 21st century, a team of scientists travel on the spaceship Prometheus to a distant planet in search of the ‘Engineers’ who created mankind and all life on earth.

FILM NEWS: Ridley Scott To Direct New Blade Runner Film

Ridley Scott is set to helm a follow-up to his cult classic science fiction film Blade Runner for Warner Brothers-based financing and production company Alcon Entertainment. Alcon recently made headlines when they announced that they had the exclusive rights to produce Blade Runner theatrical sequels and prequels, in addition to television and interactive productions based on the film. Fans will no doubt breathe a sigh of relief knowing that Ridley Scott is now fully on board. No news yet on whether this will be a sequel or prequel, or if any of the original cast will be returning.
