Cognition: An Erica Reed Thriller – Episode 1: The Hangman is a point-and-click adventure game created by Phoenix Online Studios. AMO recently previewed the game, describing it as “like a mixture of Gabriel Knight, the Saw films, Stephen King’s The Dead Zone and CSI.” The full game has now been released via digital download and the verdict is in – Cognition is every bit as good as it sounds.

INTERVIEW – In Conversation With Ellie Conrad Leigh (Zoë Castillo, Dreamfall: The Longest Journey)

Alternative Magazine Online recently reviewed Dreamfall: The Longest Journey, an adventure game created by legendary game designer Ragnar Tørnquist that was released by Norwegian developer Funcom in 2006 for Xbox and Windows PC, describing it as “a flawed game that has nonetheless stood the test of time.” Earlier this month (November 2012), Funcom announced that ‘Dreamfall Chapters’ had gone into pre-production at Red Thread Games, a new studio founded by Ragnar Tørnquist. AMO is therefore proud to present a short but sweet exclusive online interview with Ellie Conrad Leigh, the voice of  Zoë Castillo in Dreamfall: The Longest Journey!

Skyfall is the twenty-third James Bond film and Daniel Craig’s third outing as Ian Fleming’s 007. Directed by Sam Mendes (American Beauty, Road to Perdition), the film coincides with the James Bond film series’ 50th anniversary. A self-contained outing for the world’s most famous secret agent, Skyfall sees James Bond (Daniel Craig) returning from the dead to face his most dangerous adversary to date – Raoul Silva (Javier Bardem), a cyberterrorist with hidden ties to the head of MI6, M (Judi Dench).
