FILM REVIEW – Halo Legends, Part 2

By Stewie Sutherland

HaloOriginsBluRay

Released worldwide on both DVD and Blu-ray, Halo Legends takes one of the most popular franchises of our time and spins seven short films about it. It goes without saying that in something like a war for survival, there are many interesting stories to tell. When that war for survival is scattered across colonies, planets, star systems, space stations, artificial constructs and alien worlds, you get an appreciation of just how many of those stories are out there. 343 Studios and Warner Brothers intend to bring new and old fans of the Halo series a handful of those tales to their living rooms.

INTERVIEW – In Conversation With Steve Ince, Video Game Writer & Designer

By Marty Mulrooney

Hopefully, I can now pass this pleasure onto Alternative Magazine Online’s readers as well. Without further ado, I am delighted to present a recent conversation between myself and Mr Steve Ince…

I love horror novels, but scary games are often played for a while and then left on a shelf gathering dust where they can’t hurt me. Yet having recently bitten the horror gaming bullet by playing both Dead Space and Resident Evil 5 on PS3 despite my low scare threshold, I decided Silent Hill: Shattered Memories would be my next tentative step into the world of interactive horror…
