FEATURE ARTICLE – Broken Sword: The Shadow of the Templars – The Film Script

Over the past few weeks Alternative Magazine Online has been covering Revolution Software’s Broken Sword: The Serpent’s Curse Kickstarter campaign. I have been chatting every day since the Kickstarter was announced with my fellow Broken Sword fans and have been overwhelmed by not only the friendliness of the community that has evolved, but by each individual fan’s efforts to spread the word about Broken Sword 5. Revolution Software started something truly special when they announced Broken Sword: The Serpent’s Curse and the fans have made it even better. This film script – which was written with the permission of Revolution Software co-founder Tony Warriner – transfers the iconic opening of the original Broken Sword adventure game to the typed page. It is my way of saying thank you to all the staff at Revolution Software, my friend Rolf Saxon and all the new friends I have made via the Broken Sword 5 Kickstarter campaign. Paris in the fall…

FILM REVIEW – The Dark Knight Rises (IMAX)

The Dark Knight Rises

The Dark Knight Rises is the third and final instalment of director Christopher Nolan’s epic Batman film trilogy, following on from Batman Begins (2005) and The Dark Knight (2008). Christian Bale once again reprises his role as Batman, this time opposite Tom Hardy as the villain Bane, a terrorist hell-bent on destroying Gotham City. Michael Caine, Gary Oldman and Morgan Freeman also return, alongside newcomers Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Anne Hathaway.
