A Christmas Story is a 1983 American Christmas comedy film directed by Bob Clark. Although initially overlooked upon release, it has since become a Christmas classic with a cult following. It is my personal favourite Christmas film of all time and I would like to share some trivia about it today with AMO’s readers. Merry Christmas!

Jared Emerson-Johnson Interview

Jared Emerson-Johnson is an award-winning music composer, sound designer, voice director, and voice actor.  Perhaps best known for his compositional work for Telltale Games – he composed the soundtracks for all three seasons of their Sam & Max adventure games – he most recently composed the scores for Back to the Future: The Game, Puzzle Agent 2, and Jurassic Park: The Game. Phoenix Online Studios (creators of freeware King’s Quest fangame The Silver Lining) recently announced that they had partnered with Khaeon Gamestudio and would be collaborating with renowned game designer Jane Jensen (Gabriel Knight, Gray Matter) and art director Romano Molenaar (X-Men, Tomb Raider) to launch their first commercial game – Cognition: An Erica Reed Thriller. Give me a hansom cab, a magnifying glass, a diabolical mystery, a deerstalker, a rattled-off deduction and Dr Watson being baffled, and I’m usually happy. I enjoy most Sherlock Holmes films – with the exception of the Peter Cook and Dudley Moore version of The Hound of the Baskervilles and the likes of Sherlock Homie: The Ass Detective, of course – but here I select my particular favourites, highlighting slightly off-the-beaten-track efforts.
