INTERVIEW – In Converstation With Doug TenNapel (Armikrog Kickstarter)

Armikrog is a clay and puppet animated adventure game currently being developed by Doug TenNapel (creator of Earthworm Jim and The Neverhood) and Pencil Test Studios. The team hope to raise $900,000 via Kickstarter to fund the game by the 27th June 2013. Alternative Magazine Online interviewed Doug in 2010 and Power Up was also chosen as one of AMO’s best books/graphic novels of 2009, with TenNapel described as: “One of the great graphic novelists of our time.” AMO is therefore proud to present an exclusive online interview with prolific graphic novelist and talented video game designer Doug TenNapel!

Cardboard is the latest graphic novel from legendary video game designer (Earthworm Jim, The Neverhood) and graphic novelist (Creature Tech, Power Up) Doug TenNapel. Published by Graphix, a division of Scholastic Inc., Cardboard tells the story of a young boy named Cam and his down-and-out father Mike, who come into possession of some very powerful cardboard that could be extremely dangerous in the wrong hands…

INTERVIEW – In Conversation With Doug TenNapel (Graphic Novelist)

presspic2008 Doug TenNapel is a man who has accumulated many fans over the years, for many different reasons. For starters, he created cult video game character Earthworm Jim in 1994. He then went on to create the cult classic PC adventure game The Neverhood (in collaboration with Dreamworks Studios) in 1996. Nowadays, he simply creates fantastic graphic novels. I was recently lucky enough to catch up with this multitalented individual and ask him a few questions for AMO’s readers. Enjoy!
