Gravity is a science fiction action thriller/drama directed by Alfonso Cuarón (Children of Men). Sandra Bullock stars as Dr. Ryan Stone, a mission specialist who finds herself lost in space after the mid-orbit destruction of the Space Shuttle Explorer. With oxygen running out and a deadly chain reaction of space debris orbiting every 90 minutes, Dr. Stone must work with veteran astronaut Matt Kowalski (George Clooney) to overcome extreme adversity and return to Earth.

FILM REVIEW – The World’s End

The World’s End is a British science fiction comedy film directed by Edgar Wright. The final film of the ‘Three Flavours Cornetto’ trilogy (following on from 2004’s Shaun of the Dead and 2007’s Hot Fuzz), the film stars Simon Pegg as Gary King, an alcoholic ‘free spirit’ who never grew up. When Gary decides he wants to complete the Golden Mile (a 12 pint pub crawl that he didn’t get to finish as a teenager), he tracks down his old school friends Peter (Eddie Marsan), Oliver ‘O-Man’ (Martin Freeman), Steven (Paddy Considine) and Andrew (Nick Frost) and convinces them to return to their sleepy hometown of Newton Haven. Upon arrival they discover that not much has changed… apart from the fact that most of the population has been replaced by alien robots!

GAME REVIEW – Primordia (PC)

Primordia is an indie science fiction point-and-click adventure game developed by Wormwood Studios and published by Wadjet Eye Games. Taking place in a post-apocalyptic wasteland where man has long since become extinct, players must take control of the robot Horatio Nullbuilt and his floating droid companion Crispin as they set out on a quest to recover a stolen power core.
