Tales From The Borderlands Episode 1 – Zer0 Sum

Zer0 Sum is the first episode of Tales From The Borderlands, a five-part episodic video game series from Telltale Games (The Walking Dead, The Wolf Among Us). Set on the unforgiving world of Pandora after the events of the award-winning Borderlands 2 (Gearbox Software) but requiring no prior knowledge of the universe (although existing Borderlands fans will undoubtedly have a healthy head start), Tales From The Borderlands puts players in control of Rhys, a Hyperion ‘suit’, and Fiona, a Pandoran con artist, as they chase after a briefcase containing ten million dollars.

GAME REVIEW – The Wolf Among Us: Episode 4 – In Sheep’s Clothing (PC, PlayStation 3)

The Wolf Among Us: Episode 4 – In Sheep’s Clothing is the penultimate instalment of a brand new episodic adventure game from Telltale Games, based on the long-established, award-winning comic book series Fables by Bill Willingham. Following on directly from Episode 3 – A Crooked Mile (which Alternative Magazine Online described as “another superb instalment in a series that shows no signs of running out of steam (or Bigby rage) anytime soon”), Episode 4 sees the villain stepping directly into the spotlight as Bigby uncovers a conspiracy that has its roots planted deep within the crooked heart of Fabletown.

GAME REVIEW – The Walking Dead: Season Two – Episode 3: In Harm’s Way (PC)

In Harm’s Way is the third episode of The Walking Dead: Season Two – A Telltale Games Series. Following directly on from Episode 2: A House Divided (which Alternative Magazine Online described as “the perfect mix of action, plot advancement and character development”), Episode 3 sees Clementine and her new group captured and put to work by Carver, a totalitarian psychopath who uses fear and violence to instil has own uniquely twisted brands of justice and new world order. Make no mistake, they aren’t Carver’s guests – they’re his prisoners.
