GAME REVIEW – Swarm (PSN)

Swarm is an action-platform game developed by Hothead Games and published by Ignition Entertainment. In the game, players must take control of up to 50 ‘swarmites’ at once, collecting DNA throughout a variety of levels to help their ‘momma’ grow. Released via XBLA and PSN, AMO’s review will focus on the PlayStation 3 version of Swarm.

Kaptain Brawe: A Brawe New World is a downloadable point-and-click adventure game from Petar Ivancek, developed by Croatian studio Cateia Games. Set in an alternate 19th Century world and as old-school as adventure games get, this is a colourful, rib-tickling journey through space and beyond.  So, batten down the hatches, set the sails, and… compute the Bital Synchronisations?!

GAME REVIEW – And Yet It Moves (WiiWare)

And Yet It Moves is a single player puzzle platform game developed by indie developer Broken Rules, released on PC in 2009 and WiiWare in 2010. The Wii version adds an updated gameplay rotation mechanic, various control schemes, three extra levels and a slew of bonus modes, and is priced at 1,000 Wii Points.

GAME REVIEW – World Of Goo (PC)

World Of Goo is a physics-based puzzle game created by independent developer 2D Boy, which was founded by Kyle Gabler and Ron Carmel, both of whom are former Electronic Arts employees. World Of Goo has won many awards since its release in 2008, including Best Independent Game from the Spike TV Video Game Awards Show, Game Of The Year from IGN and Best Game No One Played from Gamespot.
