AMO recently reviewed Jurassic Park: The Game, describing it as “undoubtedly the best Jurassic Park game ever made.” Following on from this, Telltale Games’ Kevin Boyle kindly agreed to join us for an exclusive online interview where we discussed his role as Executive Producer and discovered why this is the studio’s most cinematic, exciting game yet. Jurassic Park: The Game is an episodic, downloadable video game developed by Telltale Games. It takes players back to Isla Nublar – the site of Jurassic Park – during and immediately after the events of the first film. Dennis Nedry’s lost Barbasol shaving-cream can and the embryos contained within once again become a major plot point as brand new characters and existing secondary ones struggle to escape the infamous dinosaur-infested island. The first episode was originally planned for release in April 2011, but the entire game was delayed until November 2011, resulting in all four episodes launching at once.

Hardcoregaming101.net Presents: The Guide to Classic Graphic Adventures is ‘an ode to one of the oldest genres in electronic gaming’ – aka adventure games – compiled and edited by Kurt Kalata. It is 772 pages in length and covers over 300 games, focusing on such prominent publishers as LucasArts and Sierra On-Line, as well as several other popular and not-so-popular series and games. It also includes a number of interviews with classic game developers such as Al Lowe (creator of Leisure Suit Larry) and Corey Cole (creator of Quest for Glory).

The Adventures of Tintin: The Secret of the Unicorn is a computer animated film based on The Adventures Of Tintin, a series of European comic books created by Belgian artist Georges Rémi, who wrote under the pen name of Hergé. Directed by Steven Spielberg and produced by Peter Jackson, the film is based on three of the original comic books: The Crab with the Golden Claws, The Secret of the Unicorn, and Red Rackham’s Treasure.
