Back To The Future: The Ultimate Visual History, created in conjunction with Universal Pictures and fully endorsed by director/co-creator Robert Zemeckis and producer/co-creator Bob Gale, is a deluxe, officially licensed book that goes behind the scenes to tell the complete story of the making of the Back to the Future films. Written by Michael Klastorin – the production publicist on the second and third movies – and Back to the Future expert Randal Atamaniuk, this treasure trove for fans features hundreds of rare and never-before-seen images from the set, concept art, storyboards and other visual treasures, along with brand new exclusive, in-depth interviews with key cast and crew members. In Back to the Future Part II, Marty McFly and Doc Brown travel into the future, to the 21st October 2015 – today! The release of this book commemorates that date, as well as the thirtieth anniversary of the release of the original film in 1985.

FILM REVIEW – The Transporter Refuelled

The Transporter Refuelled is an action thriller directed by Camille Delamarre and produced by Luc Besson (who also co-wrote the script). The fourth film in the Transporter franchise, it’s the first to see Jason Statham absent as former special-operations mercenary Frank Martin, replaced for this latest outing by relatively unknown actor Ed Skrein (he played Daario Naharis in the third season of Game of Thrones). The plot revolves around human trafficking this time round, but the series has always been best known for its brilliantly choreographed fight scenes, driving sequences… and Jason Statham. So with ‘the Stath’ out of the picture, can the transporter still deliver?

FILM REVIEW – Jurassic World (IMAX 3D)

Jurassic World is a science-fiction adventure film directed by Colin Trevorrow (Safety Not Guaranteed) and produced by Steven Spielberg. The fourth instalment in the Jurassic Park franchise, it wisely chooses to serve as a direct follow-up to the ground-breaking Jurassic Park, not so much ignoring its sequels as completely sidestepping them. The year is 2015 and John Hammond’s original dream has finally become a reality – twenty-two years after the Isla Nublar incident, Jurassic World is a fully functional dinosaur theme park located on the same island, with 20,000 visitors per day. Eager to revitalise waning interest from both investors and the general public (regular dinosaurs are so 1993), the park creates a new, genetically modified dinosaur-hybrid: Indominus rex…
