FILM REVIEW – Jurassic Park (UK Theatrical Re-Release)

Jurassic Park is an Academy Award-winning science fiction adventure film directed by Steven Spielberg, based upon the novel of the same name by Michael Crichton. Released during the summer of 1993, the film went on to gross over $900 million worldwide, becoming the top-grossing film of all time (not to be surpassed until 1997 by James Cameron’s Titanic). A Blu-ray release of the Jurassic Park Trilogy is scheduled for the 24th October 2011 in the UK. In anticipation of this, Universal Pictures have decided to re-release a brand new digital print of Jurassic Park in UK cinemas on the 23rd September 2011. 65 million years in the making… Jurassic Park is finally back on the big screen where it belongs!

FILM REVIEW – Super 8

Super 8 is a science fiction film written and directed by J. J. Abrams and produced by Steven Spielberg. Set in the fictional town of Lillian, Ohio, the film tells the story of a group of children filming their own Super 8 movie when a military train crashes and derails, releasing an unknown entity into the heart of their quiet little suburbia.

FILM REVIEW – Back To The Future (25th Anniversary Theatrical Re-Release)

Back To The Future is a 1985 science-fiction comedy film directed by Robert Zemeckis (Who Framed Roger Rabbit) and produced by Steven Spielberg. Starring Michael J. Fox and Christopher Lloyd, it tells the story of Marty McFly, a teenager who is accidentally sent back in time to the year 1955 and must find his way back home. A global phenomenon upon release, it grossed over $380 million worldwide and received critical acclaim, as well as two sequels and an animated TV show. 25 years later, fans now have the chance to see where it all began, digitally remastered in cinemas across the UK and US.
