BOOK NEWS – Doug TenNapel Sketchbook Archives (Video)

 By Marty Mulrooney

Following the successfully funded Kickstarter campaign that took place at the end of last year, The Doug TenNapel Sketchbook Archives has finally arrived! Alternative Magazine Online interviewed legendary video game designer (Earthworm Jim, The Neverhood) and graphic novelist (Creature Tech, Cardboard) Doug TenNapel in 2010 and Power Up was also chosen as one of AMO’s best books/graphic novels of 2009, with TenNapel described as: “One of the great graphic novelists of our time.” AMO is therefore proud to present an exclusive video reveal of the Doug TenNapel Sketchbook Archives!

  1. Wow – that Sketchbook looks great! I wait for mine any day now…

  2. Got mine as well and it is a thing of beauty, so happy I backed this.

  3. Bert

I have just viewed on Youtube one of the most disgusting and morally degenerate videos it has been my misfortune to see in which Doug TenNapal mimics and ridicules the speech patterns ( a bravely controlled stutter) of President elect Biden

    • Hi Bert, thanks for commenting. I haven’t seen the video in question, but it wouldn’t surprise me. I have read several terrible things Mr TenNapel has said since I last interviewed him in 2013. It’s really disappointing, as Creature Tech was my introduction to graphic novels and I have an extensive collection of his work. However, I won’t be inviting him back for another interview and I haven’t read any of his most recent graphic novels.
