GAME REVIEW – Mass Effect 2 DLC Compilation (Xbox 360)

Commander Shepard, Commander Shepard, where art thou Commander Shepard? The human race needs you! Oh, there you are, still fighting to save the universe from those dastardly Reapers! A full year on from the initial release of the smash hit video game Mass Effect 2, those fine folks at Bioware have continued to spoil us with a plutonium load of additional downloadable content. All good things must come to an end however, as it did with the release of ‘The Arrival’, the final Mass Effect 2 DLC episode. So, let’s take a look back and wrap up all of those extras in one neat little package.

INTERVIEW – In Conversation With Sonita Henry (Ellie Langford, Dead Space 2)

In AMO’s recent review of Dead Space 2, we described it as “an early contender for game of the year”. New female lead Ellie Langford was also praised: “her interactions with Clarke sparkle with genuine comradery, as well as offering occasional comic relief.” We were therefore understandably delighted when Ellie’s voice actress Sonita Henry agreed to join us to discuss her first foray into the world of video game voice acting!

GAME REVIEW – Battlefield: Bad Company 2: Vietnam (Xbox 360)

Since the release of Bad Company 2 early last year (reviewed here), developer DICE have supported their popular modern day shooter with regular free updates. Focusing on realistic, tactical play rather than kill streaks and remote control cars, it quickly established itself as one of the best, if not the best, of the online shooters. Battlefield: Bad Company 2: Vietnam is the first paid expansion for the title, taking the action from war-torn towns and deserts to lush, Asian jungles.
