Alternative Magazine Online reviewed the She Never Sleeps EP in 2012, describing it as “the dull ache and lonesome musicality of Ray Lamontagne with slightly more light at the end of the tunnel”, before going on to say that Zach Hurd is “a singer songwriter that’s crying out to be discovered by the masses and truly deserves to be.” To fund his 4th studio album, he is hoping to raise $10,000 via Kickstarter by the 20th October 2013. Kim Newman is an award-winning author, English journalist and film critic. In 2011 Alternative Magazine Online gave a glowing review of the Titan Books reissue of Anno Dracula: “Kim Newman is a master storyteller, steadily layering multiple details and characters on top of the core narrative without ever losing focus or confusing the reader. A breathless account of a 19th century England ruled by Count Dracula, Newman may have taken inspiration from a number of sources, but ultimately makes this unique story entirely his own.” After an extremely long wait and much anticipation, the fourth instalment, Johnny Alucard (Titan Books, September 2013), has finally been released in the UK. INTERVIEW – In Conversation With Robert Busey (Sword ‘N’ Board Kickstarter Campaign)

Sword ‘N’ Board is a puzzle orientated adventure currently being created by indie game developer Robert Busey, formerly of Big Fish Games and Hashbang Games. Robert hopes to raise $7,500 via Kickstarter to fund the game by the 6th September 2012. In Sword ‘N’ Board you play as Sidd, a kid with an active imagination who must battle his way through imaginary enemies, cardboard forests and dark pillow fort dungeons, solving challenging puzzles in order to find the pieces of his lost video game console! The story behind the creation of the game is particularly touching and it is therefore with great pleasure that AMO presents an exclusive online interview with Robert Busey!
