A direct sequel to last year’s superb Puzzle Agent by Telltale Games, Puzzle Agent 2 once again sees players taking control of FBI Agent Nelson Tethers (Department of Puzzle Research) as he investigates a series of mysterious disappearances in the sleepy town of Scoggins, Minnesota. Featuring the stunning artwork of Graham Annable, Puzzle Agent 2 is certainly a winner in the looks department. But, does it have the puzzles to match?

Puzzle Agent is Telltale Games’ first foray into their online ‘pilot’ scheme, where they create a single game episode to see how well it works, with a view for later expansion. I don’t think they could have chosen a better starting point! On a technical level at least, Puzzle Agent is stunning: the artwork of Graham Annable brought to life. But of course, any game with the word ‘puzzle’ in its title had better deliver some solid brainteasers…

The Book Of Grickle is a beautiful hardcover treasure trove of material collected from the various ‘Grickle’ works of Graham Annable, professional cartoonist, animator and illustrator. Mr Annable was first brought to my attention via his video game work at Telltale Games and LucasArts, yet I am proud to say that I have finally exposed myself to his more personal projects and creations as of late.
