A Christmas Story is a 1983 American Christmas comedy film directed by Bob Clark. Although initially overlooked upon release, it has since become a Christmas classic with a cult following. Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows is a sequel to the 2009 film Sherlock Holmes, once again directed by Guy Ritchie (Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels, Snatch) and starring Robert Downey, Jr. and Jude Law as Sherlock Holmes and Dr. John Watson respectively. The bickering detective duo must join forces once more, this time to bring down their most cunning adversary yet, the formidable Professor Moriarty (Jared Harris, Mad Men).

FILM REVIEW – Another Earth

Another Earth is a science fiction/drama film directed by Mike Cahill. The film stars Brit Marling as Rhoda Williams, a high school student who has been recently accepted to MIT (Massachusetts Institute of Technology). After celebrating with friends she drink-drives home, listening to a story on the radio about an approaching planet that looks exactly like Earth. Intoxicated and distracted, she ploughs into accomplished composer John Burroughs’ car (William Mapother), putting him in a coma and killing his wife and son. After being released from prison, Rhoda crosses paths with John once again as two Earths draw slowly closer…
