Shaun the Sheep Movie is a feature-length stop-motion animated comedy film produced by Aardman Animations, creators of Wallace and Gromit. Based on the award-winning children’s television show Shaun the Sheep (itself a spinoff of the 1995 Wallace and Gromit short film A Close Shave), the film sees the mischievous Shaun the sheep pining for a day off from the busy daily routine of the farm. He soon devises a plan to send the Farmer to sleep, but unforeseen consequences result in the entire flock – along with Bitzer the dog – heading into the city to save the day…

FILM REVIEW – Mad Max: Fury Road

Mad Max: Fury Road is a post-apocalyptic action film created by Australian director George Miller. The fourth film in the Mad Max series, Fury Road isn’t a reboot, or even a remake – rather, it’s a ‘re-take’ or ‘re-visit’ of the world with Tom Hardy replacing Mel Gibson as the titular Road Warrior. In the director’s own words: ““Mad Max is caught up with a group of people fleeing across the Wasteland in a War Rig driven by the Imperator Furiosa. This movie is an account of the road war which follows. Saving Mr Banks

Saving Mr. Banks is an American-British-Australian film directed by John Lee Hancock (The Blind Side). Based on (or perhaps more accurately, inspired by) a true story, the film stars Emma Thompson as author Pamela ‘P.L.’ Travers and Tom Hanks as filmmaker Walt Disney, as they struggle to bring the story of Mary Poppins from the small page to the big screen.
