The Inner World iOS

The Inner World is a German point-and-click adventure game created by Studio Fizbin and published by Headup Games. Alternative Magazine Online reviewed the PC version in October 2013, describing it as “the most pleasant surprise to come along within the adventure genre for a very long time indeed.” AMO was therefore delighted when the story of Robert the ‘flute-nose’ was recently made available for iOS via the App Store – that’s right, the world of Asposia now fits right in your pocket!

The Wolf Among Us: Episode One – Faith (PC) is the opening instalment of a brand new episodic adventure game series from Telltale Games, the creators of AMO’s pick for Game of the Year 2012 The Walking Dead: The Game. Based on the long-established, award-winning comic book series Fables by Bill Willingham and licensed by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment, the game puts players in control of Bigby Wolf, a man once upon a time more infamously known as The Big Bad Wolf. As Bigby, who is now the sheriff of a hidden community of mythical creatures and characters in New York City, a murder mystery must be solved and a killer brought to justice before heads start to roll – literally. One of the most highly anticipated video games of all time, players take control of three different characters throughout the game’s story – Michael, Franklin and Trevor – in a game-changing first for the series. Set in the fictional state of San Andreas (Rockstar’s version of Southern California), the map comprises the sprawling metropolis of Los Santos (based on Los Angeles), the surrounding countryside and mountains, and even the ocean floor – all coming together to create the breathtaking set for an epic crime drama that’s larger than life.
